EJ's Story... 

A success story to be proud of!

EJ lives in Wales and is 46 years old. In 2017 circumstances lead him to be imprisoned for 6 years. Whilst in prison EJ used his time wisely and applying himself, gained valuable skills in mentoring. He secured employment as a workshop supervisor. EJ also utilized his time supporting fellow inmates as a Listener.

When we first met, EJ had enrolled on the construction programme, delivered in partnership with Willmott Dixon. On successful completion and upon release from prison, Willmott Dixon offered EJ a full-time post and recently promoted him to Site Supervisor.

EJ's experience demonstrates how Inside Connections networks with organisations to successfully identify and train suitable candidates.

Our holistic approach towards supporting our service users and our partners, has created sustainable employment outcomes. An important factor in stopping users from re-offending. EJ is now on a positive path and we wish him every success for the future.
