The scheme provides six-month work placements for young people aged 16-24 on Universal Credit at risk of long-term unemployment.
Funding available through the scheme covers 100% of the relevant National Minimum Wage for 25 hours a week, plus the associated National Insurance and pension contributions, for each placement.
We will handle all aspects of your application to the scheme and your Kickstarters’ training and support needs.
This includes employability training, advice and guidance, job coaching and online support to help make your Kickstarter placements a success.
We will create a bespoke support programme for your Kickstarters, identifying yours and their needs, developing the skills, experience and confidence needed to thrive in your organisation.
We can provide further training development for the workforce currently in your organisation with up to 70% funded if you are working in the Liverpool City Region.
To support those with extra needs we provide blanket screening for Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dyspraxia. If this is diagnosed, then businesses can access further support to help cover the costs of any software needed for the individual.
