Louise's Story...

Introduced to crime at the age of 9, suspended and expelled from school 15 times. Louise has walked a path that involved criminal acts both as a perpetrator and a victim, with drugs playing a huge part in her escapism from trauma. At 21 Louise was sentenced to 18 months in prison, the very age of her child. This sentence was a turning point in her life, it gave her the determination to protect her daughter and ensure she had a better chance in life, and  boy did she deliver. Louise embarked on a journey of transformation, achieving a Higher National Diploma in Criminal Psychology and Criminology, a Law degree with honours and a Masters in International HR Management, and Communication Across Culture.
As Louise would say...
"Always learning always a journey"
Today Louise is a hardworking, dedicated and motivated professional with a desire to succeed. During her career she has worked in a drugs and gang rehabilitation centre, and held senior marketing and management positions for global organisations. After a scroll, like and swipe across social media, Louise connected with Inside Connections and Founder, John Burton. The organisation was of instant interest, the unique team, their passion for change and work ethic was very refreshing, so she was delighted when appointed 'Chief of Staff' earlier this year. Louise feels that working with Inside Connections has given her real sense of belonging, she can now channel all her life experiences to support others and effect change. Since taking up post Louise has never looked back, she feels this is what she was destined for, and her turbulent past has equipped her to take on this role.
"If I didn't have a hard beginning then I may not be as strong as I am today".
Louise feels that you need to look inside yourself and use all your life experiences in the best possible way. She now wants to ensure that everyone who walks through the door at Inside Connections feels welcomed, supported and never judged.
"If you believe in yourself and know that you are worth more. Then I think you can do anything".
